This calculator converts psi to kPa (pounds per square inch to kilopascal) and vice versa - kPa to psi.
One psi (pound per square inch) is defined as 6.89475729 kPa (kilopascals). This unit of measurement is mostly used in North American automotive industry, Canadian and US automarket to indicate automobile tire pressure of SUVs, trucks, cars, buses, limos and minivans (tire measurements can be also called "gauge pressure"). A typical tire pressure for small size cars can be about 32 psi/220 kPa. This calculator provides conversion of psi to kPa and vice versa.
